Reader of the week- Rachel and Mac

This week Rachel read a very popular book written by Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat! This is a great book to teach students about rhyming and fluency. 

Mac read a very interesting nonfiction text, Bats. He was able to explains some new words to the class, like nocturnal. 

I know the students love seeing each other's pictures and favorite books in the hallway. So many new books have been   read because of the recommendations my student have made. I would love for them to see pictures of their parents and other adults with their favorite books. If you're interested, you can email a picture of yourself with your favorite children's book to Mrs. Foval. Also, tell us why you like that book.
