Each month we are visited by our Big Buddies, seventh graders from Miss Rivers' advisory group. I was actually a Big Buddy to one of Miss River's students when I was a senior in high school. Man does that make me feel old! I am so happy that now she gets to be a Big Buddy to one of my students. Today our Big Buddies wanted to do a fall activity with the students, so we painted pumpkins! The students were SO excited to be able to go to the science lab and paint, since we haven't gotten to paint yet this year. The Big Buddies had so much fun explaining how to make new colors from the paint colors they were given. We will see our Big Buddies again in November!
